The men's team sprint was an interesting one with teams getting relegated in each round for not changing correctly, but thankfully not us. Dave Heald, Rowan Elliott and Ben Elliott recorded 49.822 in qualifiers to place 8th and get the joy of riding against the fastest team in the semis. They improved slightly in the semis for 49.550 which secured them 7th overall in the end.

The men's scratch heats were only 40 laps so ridden off at very fast paces. Andy Stuart was 17th in his heat and Jack Green 14th so they did not qualify for the final today but both had a good ride.
The women had a keirin today. Laura Clode rode well against a very strong field, placing 5th in the first round and 3rd in the rep. She then had the minor final but got boxed in a bit to finish 4th which placed her in 11th overall.
We had no-one in the points race today but a special mention to new national points champion and ex-teamie Sarah Storey who rode an awesome race to lap the field twice and win by a good margin.
Thanks again to Rusine and well done to all those that took part, great racing!
